Cerave Blemish Control Cleanser

Begin by wetting your face with lukewarm water to open up your pores. Make sure the water temperature isn’t too hot or too cold to avoid irritation.

Dispense a small amount of CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser (about a dime-sized amount) onto your fingertips or a cleansing brush. Gently apply it to your damp face. Focus on the areas where you have blemishes, acne, or excess oil.

Gently massage the cleanser into your skin using circular motions. The formula will create a mild lather. Make sure to avoid the sensitive areas around your eyes. For better results, spend about 30 seconds to 1 minute massaging the product into your skin to allow the salicylic acid to work.

After massaging, rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove the cleanser. Ensure there is no residue left on your skin.

Gently pat your face dry with a soft, clean towel. Avoid rubbing your skin, as this can irritate it.

After cleansing, apply any toners, serums, or acne treatments as needed. Finish with a moisturizer to help hydrate and protect your skin, especially if you're using other acne treatments that can dry out the skin.

If you're using the cleanser in the morning, always follow up with a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) because salicylic acid can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.

Avoid Over-Exfoliation: Be cautious when using other exfoliating products, like scrubs or retinoids, alongside this cleanser to avoid irritation. Patch Test: If you're using this product for the first time, perform a patch test on a small area of your skin to check for any potential allergic reactions or irritation.
